BAS is a hardware simulator that simulates a bill acceptor function in communication with a MDB host machine (VMC). It communicates with the VMC from initial start up handshaking to system setup and then to credit accepted (stacked). There is another communication port (RS232) on the unit to provide access to an external computer which BAS gets the simulation commands from.

The purpose of the device is to replace a real monetary transaction or a real person to put money into a bill acceptor of a system. With this computer driven device, a prolong and unattended test can be performed without human interaction.
